Garbage and Bulk items are picked up on Tuesdays. Yard Waste and Recycle are picked up on Fridays. Cans should be placed curbside after 6PM the previous day and brought in by 7PM on collection day.

Starting May 15, 2023 your collection days for Garbage, Recycling, Yard Waste and Bulk Waste are changing. 

New Collection Days:

  • Recycling & Yard Waste will be Tuesday
  • Garbage & Bulk Waste will be Thursday
  • For *White Goods*, please contact WM Customer Experience to schedule collection service. 

The following items can be recycled in Osceola County:

         Aluminum / Steel / Tin Cans

         Cardboard

         Magazines

         Newspapers

         Office Papers

         Plastic Bottles

The following items cannot be recycled in Osceola County:

         Glass

         Styrofoam

         Household batteries

         Hardback Books

         Electronics*

         Ceramics or Dishes

         Food waste

*These items can be dropped off to Bass Rd,

ACCEPTED HAZARDOUS WASTE

  • Automotive: Antifreeze, solvents, batteries, oil, brake fluid, transmission fluid.
  • Paint: Spray paint, paint cans, paint thinners, wood preservatives.
  • Gardening: Pesticides, insect sprays or dust, weed killer, poison or insecticides.
  • Cleaning: Drain cleaner, degreasers, oven cleaners, moth balls, spot removers, polishes/wax, and pool chemicals.
  • Electronics: Old computers, monitors, televisions with tubes/flatscreens, cell phones, VCRs, detectors (i.e. Smoke, Carbon Monoxide, Radon ).
